MAXICOM offers this advanced mid range reader designed for true handsfree vehicle access. The MAG AR500U Mid Range Reader provides a reading range of 1.8 to 7 meters, depending on the type of solar film installed on the vehicle. Unlike UHF readers, the AR500U uses an active transponder (with battery) that can penetrate premium solar film. This reader uses 433 MHz frequency and features IR technology for accurate reading. The AR500U does not require a loop detector to enable or disable the reader, as the IR coverage ensures accurate reading within the desired range. This reader is ideal for car park access control requiring true handsfree operation.
